Interventional Pulmonary Outcomes Group

Our Mission:

1. Improve the survival outcome and quality of life of adults with pulmonary diseases through the conduct of high-quality clinical trials

2. Evaluate new or existing technologies focused on diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for the thorax in the context of clinical research.

3. Develop and conduct practice-changing clinical trials funded through federally funded agencies through IPOG's membership.

4. Develop and conduct industry-sponsored clinical trials that are important to IPOGs research mission.

5. Support early career investigators from many disciplines within the IPOG research enterprise through fellowships, travel awards, and IPOG Next Generation Investigator Awards.
